# set_interface

Define interface (shear joint).

## Parameters

<dt>shapes : Shape | ShapeList</dt>
<dd>Shapes. Must be 'edge' in 2D and 'face' in 3D.</dd>
<dt>material : Material</dt>
<dd>Interface material (MohrCoulomb or Tresca).</dd>
</dl>
